Ryan Eklund

Interior Designer

From a young age, I have always gravitated toward building Legos and Lincoln Logs in my free time. The thrill of building and seeing my creations come about always amazed me and sparked a moment of creativity. It was a big puzzle that always came together at the end, and it was also very calming to the mind as I continued to create more and more.

Throughout high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. After getting my driver’s license, I enjoyed exploring homes around the city and decided to pursue a career in real estate. However, I quickly realized it involved much more paperwork than I anticipated. As I approached my senior year of high school, I considered my technical skills and initially chose to study cybersecurity in college. After a year, I felt it wasn’t the right fit. While exploring degree options at Pittsburg State University, I discovered interior design and immediately felt a connection. I switched my major, earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a minor in construction technology, and have since enjoyed a fulfilling career. I’m excited to continue on this journey at 3ten!

As an Interior Designer at 3ten, I bring a keen eye for detail and design, seeking to create aesthetically pleasing yet functional spaces.
With experience primarily in the residential side, I hope to expand the residential market and provide a unique touch to the surrounding areas.
I want to focus primarily on conceptual layouts, providing 3D models, and picking out cohesive furnishings.

Outside work, I enjoy baking, traveling, gardening, and trying out local food and coffee establishments. And I have recently found a passion for hiking trails, boating, and crocheting!
