Remodel within a historic warehouse building in the Delano Neighborhood in Wichita, Kansas. The office expanded into the existing warehouse area. The existing roof structure utilized a clay tile structure which we were able to keep exposed and highlight the unique nature of the building. New modern amenities within a building with lots of natural character. Often as an architect it is more important what you don’t do as opposed to what you do. Expressing the natural character of a building or site.  Scars of the past are meant to be seen and expressed with pride not hidden.
